About Kids Fun Run

The clubs aim to foster both a love of exercise and build positive mental-health for children. Through tackling challenges and going on fun adventures out in nature, the children also develop confidence and resilience.

Friendship and community are also a vital part of the groups, with the children getting the opportunity to spend time with each other outside of the classroom in safe and fun settings.

Meet Jamie

Kids Fun Run was set up by Jamie Thom. Jamie is a qualified teacher, keen runner and he has two very energetic young children. He has also published five books on education and supporting young people in schools, and spoken widely across the UK on education.

He set up Kids Fun Run in order to provide active, screen free after school care that builds healthy habits for children. Having grown up in the Highlands of Scotland and loved exercise since a young age, Jamie wants to share that love of movement and the outdoors with the next generation. As a qualified running coach, Jamie also has an array of fun exercise games that kids really enjoy!
